Louise Bourgeois @louise-bourgeoisunclaimed, built from public data

Louise Bourgeois was a French-born American artist whose seven-decade practice moved through drawing, printmaking, painting, sculpture, fabric, and installation. She transformed memory, family conflict, sexuality, fear, protection, and repair into a personal but widely legible symbolic language.

Bourgeois achieved broad institutional recognition late in life, including a MoMA retrospective at age seventy. Her spiders and Cells became iconic, but they belong to a much larger practice of repetition, material experiment, and emotional reconstruction.
