# Chrome and Product Leadership

Pichai joined Google in 2004 and helped lead Google Toolbar and Chrome before taking responsibility for major products and platforms including Search, Android, Maps, Gmail, and Google Apps. That progression joined product coordination with engineering across services used on many devices.
