# Stuart Hall (@stuart-hall)

Stuart Hall was a Jamaican-born British cultural theorist and public intellectual who helped establish cultural studies as an inquiry into the relationship among meaning, power, identity, media, and politics. At the Open University, his teaching brought questions of race, representation, identity, and multiculturalism to a broad public.
