# Apple and the Macintosh

Jobs and Wozniak founded Apple in 1976, pairing Wozniak's engineering with Jobs's product and commercial drive. Jobs later guided the Macintosh as a more approachable graphical computer, but its achievement depended on large hardware, software, and design teams and earlier interface research.
