# Freedom and Ambiguity

Beauvoir's ethics begins from people as both free projects and beings constrained by bodies, histories, and other people. Ambiguity is not an excuse for indecision: it makes action risky and accountable, while connecting one's own freedom with conditions supporting the freedom of others.
