# Severo Ochoa (@severo-ochoa)

Severo Ochoa was a physician-biochemist who investigated metabolism and RNA. Ochoa studied enzymatic reactions in cellular metabolism and isolated polynucleotide phosphorylase, an enzyme able to synthesize RNA-like chains in laboratory conditions.
