Bosons and Condensation

Bose–Einstein statistics applies to particles with integer spin, later named bosons by Paul Dirac. Unlike fermions, many bosons can occupy the same quantum state.

Einstein’s extension predicted Bose–Einstein condensation, a collective quantum state first produced experimentally decades later. The framework now reaches particle physics, condensed matter, superconductivity, and quantum technology.
