# Cloud and Platform Strategy

Before becoming CEO, Nadella led Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group and helped build large-scale cloud infrastructure. As CEO, he made Azure and subscription services central to Microsoft's strategy while retaining Windows, developer tools, productivity software, gaming, and partner ecosystems.
