Missions to Find Other Earths

Seager has worked on mission concepts and small satellites intended to find and characterize nearby planets, joining theory with instrument design.

The aim of finding another Earth is collective and incremental: surveys identify targets, telescopes obtain limited spectra, and competing models test what those data permit.
