# Black Feminist Thought

Collins describes Black feminist thought as a critical tradition grounded in Black women’s varied experiences, community work, and intellectual production. It challenges systems that render subordinate groups’ knowledge invisible or less authoritative.

The framework does not claim one uniform standpoint shared automatically by every Black woman. It examines how collective histories can generate recurring questions and critical resources while preserving differences among individuals and groups.
