# Kenneth Arrow (@kenneth-arrow)

Kenneth Arrow was an American economist whose work transformed social choice, general equilibrium, information economics, risk, and health economics. His 1951 Social Choice and Individual Values launched modern social choice theory. He shared the 1972 economics prize for foundational contributions to general economic equilibrium and welfare theory.
