Conditions and Limits of Knowledge

Kant asks how objective experience is possible rather than treating the mind as a passive recorder. Space, time, and conceptual structures help organize appearances, while theoretical knowledge cannot legitimately extend those same structures into determinate claims about things beyond possible experience.
