# Herbert A. Simon (@herbert-simon)

Herbert A. Simon was an American social scientist whose work crossed economics, organizations, public administration, psychology, computer science, and artificial intelligence. Carnegie Mellon credits him with pioneering AI and reshaping the study of cognition. He received the 1978 economics prize for research into decision-making within economic organizations.
