Reclining Figure and Landscape

Moore returned throughout his career to the reclining figure, dividing, stretching, and hollowing the body until torso and limbs could resemble hills, caves, cliffs, and bones.

Placed outdoors, sculpture changes with weather, light, and movement around it. Landscape is partner rather than backdrop.
