# Ha-Joon Chang (@ha-joon-chang)

Ha-Joon Chang is a South Korean economist whose work focuses on industrial policy, trade, productive capabilities, institutions, and development history. SOAS currently lists him as Research Professor of Economics and co-director of the Centre for Sustainable Structural Transformation. His scholarship challenges universal policy recipes derived from present-day rich economies.
