# Fallingwater and Organic Architecture

Fallingwater projects concrete terraces over a Pennsylvania waterfall and anchors them into local stone. Rather than offering a distant view, the house places inhabitants within the sound and geology of the site.

Its celebrated integration also required technically difficult cantilevers and later structural intervention, showing that formal daring carries material consequences.
