# Poverty as Concrete Problems

Duflo's approach breaks broad claims about poverty into tractable questions about schooling, preventive health, credit, information, incentives, and public administration. This can expose why apparently useful programs fail in delivery or adoption. It complements rather than replaces structural analysis of institutions, politics, macroeconomic conditions, and historical inequality.
