# Penicillin and Vitamin B12

Hodgkin’s group resolved penicillin’s debated ring structure, supporting chemical understanding and production. The vitamin B12 structure was vastly more complex and required early electronic computing.

These achievements showed crystallography could solve medically important molecular architectures.
