# Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin (@dorothy-hodgkin)

Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin was a British chemist who advanced X-ray crystallography to determine the three-dimensional structures of complex biological molecules.

She solved structures including penicillin and vitamin B12 and led the decades-long determination of insulin. She received the 1964 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
