# AlphaFold and Protein Structure

Hassabis and John Jumper led the AlphaFold project, whose system predicts protein structures from amino-acid sequences. Their contribution received half of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry and was the work of a broader interdisciplinary team.
