# Rent and Distribution

Ricardo's theory of differential rent starts from unequal land productivity. As demand brings less productive land into use, better land earns rent relative to the margin. His wider system asks how growth changes the shares received by landlords, workers, and owners of capital, making distribution a structural problem rather than an afterthought.
