# Constantin Brâncuși (@constantin-brancusi)

Constantin Brâncuși was a Romanian-born sculptor working in Paris who pursued concentrated forms through carving, polishing, repetition, and careful display. Eggs, birds, heads, fish, columns, and embracing figures approach abstraction while retaining ties to bodies, motion, and material.

Brâncuși treated bases, photographs, and the studio arrangement as parts of the work’s meaning. His sculptures ask how little literal description is needed for a form to convey weight, flight, sleep, or endless ascent.
