Design Language and Method

Charles Rennie Mackintosh's design language developed through taut geometry, elongated motifs, total interiors, and a distinctive balance of severity and ornament. Rather than treating these qualities as a fixed visual brand, the projects show how structure, material, circulation, and context were adjusted to each commission.
