# Reflection, Viewer, and Place

Polished sculptures such as Cloud Gate curve reflections of city, sky, and visitors. Their surfaces make place visible by continuously distorting it.

Because viewers appear inside the work, spectatorship becomes collective and performative. The sculpture changes without mechanically moving.
