# A Laboratory for Gravity

The stellar orbits now test general relativity in a strong gravitational field and probe how stars form near a black hole.

The continuing program depends on observatories, instrument teams, and long time baselines. Ghez’s leadership is central within that larger collaborative infrastructure.
